John Murray Press invited us to create the cover and text design for The Secret Lives of Colour by Kassia St Clair, which explores the cultural and social history of colours.

Brightly coloured, randomly-punched holes on the cover represent individual portals to the greater knowledge to be found within. With a grid allowing consistent blocks of colour on each page, full-bleed DPS colour blends let readers navigate using colour alone.

A clean, elegant and stylish book, a consistent seller around the world, stocked by both the Design Museum and Tate Gallery, and now available in 20 languages.
